Obedience training is one of the most important aspects of raising a dog. Training opens a line of communication between you and your dog. A well-trained dog is by far a happier dog. Obedience exercises not only teach good manners but also increase relaxation in uncomfortable situations. Controlling canine behavior is all about understanding your pet's behavior alongside proper communication. We offer Leash Obedience, Problem-Solving, Behavior Modification, and Training, but most importantly, we will also train you, the owner.

 

We use a reward-based "Marker" training style (similar to but not the same as operant conditioning). Since the middle of the 1990s, marker training has become the foundation for Basic Dog Obedience, Agility, Tracking, and Schutzhund/IPO. It is currently moving into the world of Police Service Dog training.
